The Witcher for Steam giveaway

So this week ended without me being able to create any videos, the first week I haven’t made a video since I started this blog back in September (at least that I remember).  So as a big “sorry” to everybody I decided to giveaway a full copy of The Witcher for Steam!  I only have one copy

How to enter?  Glad you asked!

Steam’s annual Holiday Sale introduces new metagame

This year Steam is really switching things up with its annual Holiday Sale.  As usual there are tons of great deals for good games at almost rock-bottom prices, but on top of that they are also doing a sweet metagame.

LoL Giveaway Winners!

  • hardband
  • Zika
  • Ampo
  • Dorian “FLayZ”
  • John Timberlake
  • Redux

Winners were chosen using a random number generator, I’ll be e-mailing the codes out directly, please comment if you are having trouble receiving the code.

Steam is having a “Wishlist Giveaway”, begins with Terraria sale

If you all haven’t guessed it by now, I’m a huge sucker for Steam sales.  My Steam library needs a spreadsheet to navigate.  There are many games in there I’m pretty sure I’ll never get to.  At any rate the promise of a big giveaway is enough to get me to Steam each day, so this latest contest sounds very enticing, plus its free!

All you need to do is login to Steam, put 10 games in your “wishlist” and check out whatever is on sale for the day on the top.  What I can already tell is pretty evil about this contest is that I will likely want whatever is on sale.  Terraria is on sale for only $2.50 today (4 for $7.50!) and I’m already thinking Christmas gifts :D

fullnovazero’s 100th post!

Dear fullnovazero readers,

I’m very proud to announce that I’ve made it to 100 posts since launching in September!  Its been a great trip so far and I hope it goes on for much longer.  A huge thank you to everyone who has visited the site over the last few months, my supportive friends and family, reddit readers and commenters and everyone else who has stopped by to take a peak!

Since beginning, this blog has generated over 11,000 views and continues to climb.  Our busiest day so far was just this last Monday, when we reached 7,831 views.  The most viewed article so far is 4 mods for Skyrim you should install.  Our most popular youtube video is How to join the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim.  (starting to see a trend…)

I’m hoping to really ramp up the content and quality in the coming weeks and months and expect to start getting more serious about attending trade events (so sad I missed Minecon), getting out some more original content and pumping out way more guides and videos.

I can’t thank everyone enough, but I’ll try.  I have a big surprise giveaway coming at 10 AM, so stay tuned!  Thanks again!

You won’t want to miss this Humble Bundle

The latest Humble Bundle is really a pack of all the great games made by my favorite indie developer – Introversion.  Looking way back to 2006, I recall that DEFCON was the first non-Valve game that I bought over Steam.

I want everyone who reads this to donate at least $5 to the Humble Bundle in exchange for 4 of the best games the indie world has had to offer:

  1. Uplink: Hacker Elite – hacking “simulator” that is brutally difficult.
  2. Darwinia – a masterpiece of retro graphics and unique gameplay.
  3. DEFCON – nuclear warfare simulator, whoever dies less wins!
  4. Multiwinia – multiplayer update to Darwinia that is craziness in a bottle.
Still not convinced?  Buy a copy of the Introversion Humble Bundle for $5 or more and comment on this post.  I’ll pick a random poster and give them a copy of the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle which includes a copy of Trine!  Please comment by midnight Wednesday PST.  Code will be given away on Thursday!
