Finally getting my hands on the Minecraft LEGO set

Yep, its here, the Minecraft LEGO.  Pre-ordered months ago, the set has finally arrived and I spent the better part of my night putting it together.  It was, of course, a blast to play with LEGOs again. Hit the jump for a full album of photos from the set.

I have to say it looks pretty cool, maybe not the most incredible LEGO set I’ve ever seen, but it certainly struck me as unique.  I’m not too convinced a kid could grab this and legitimately play with it, but I did like the idea that it had interlocking sections and a upper and lower section that could be taken apart with ease.  It will be a neat piece to have in the office, even if no one will likely play with the thing actively.  The real downside is that its put together with so many tiny pieces that anything could easily pop off by grabbing it too hard.  Well, I won’t stall any longer, here’s a full set of my unboxing and putting it together.

About Ryan Saul

Hailing from Portland, OR I work by day and blog by night. I like to consider myself a video game connoisseur, playing as many new things as I can get my hands on. Its hard to hold me down to one game for very long before I move on to the next big thing. Luckily, that works pretty well in terms of video game blogging.
